In preparation for BAU 2025, one of the leading international trade fairs in the industry, they involved us to create an innovative experience: a 3D configurator for trade shows and interactive events, designed to enhance the presentation of their products directly at the booth.
The Challenge
To achieve this, it was necessary to understand the constraints of a trade show environment, one of which is stable internet connectivity. Dnd wanted to offer the ability to customize products in real time through our 3D configurator.
The most complex challenge was therefore to develop a technologically advanced yet autonomous solution, capable of working offline while supporting the entire catalog simultaneously.
The Solution
For Dnd, we developed an interactive trade show totem specifically for BAU 2025. The solution combines different configuration types within a single touch-and-play device: a 3D viewer with animations, a classic 2D configurator, and a parametric 3D configurator.
The client was able to present the entire catalog, enable real-time product customization, and deliver an engaging 3D experience through exploratory animations.
And what about internet connectivity?
The kiosk interface was developed to function entirely offline, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted experience without any network dependency.
Thanks to this solution, Dnd provided visitors with an intuitive way to interact with its products, capturing attention, increasing commercial interest, and collecting valuable data on customer preferences.
